The Acoustic Music Jam

We are a regularly-scheduled acoustic musicians' jam, still going strong after over 25 years in the northern Chicagoland suburbs (Lake County).  We provide a safe, comfortable, regular meeting place for musicians of all skill levels to jam and practice, and make new friends. 
 Instruments played at the jam:

      • dobro/resonator guitar
      • 5 string banjo
      • mandolin
      • fiddle
      • autoharp
      • bass fiddle
      • harmonica
      • tin whistle
      • other acoustic instruments

Bring your instrument(s) and join us.  Musicians and singers of all skill levels (beginners, too) are welcome!  There are usually a number of separate jam sessions going on in different rooms to suit different musical styles and skill levels. 
The jam is usually held twice a month, on each 2nd and 4th Friday, from 8:00 PM until about 11:30 PM (sometimes runs later). The jam is housed in the Lake County area at:

Lord of Glory Lutheran Church
607 West Belvidere Road (IL Route 120)
(On Illinois Route 120, West of Alleghany Road/East of Hainesville Road)
Grayslake, IL 60030

Newcomers are welcomed at an introductory jam circle set up near the entrance of the building.
